About the RoleThe Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Grade 2 Custodial Mental Health is a key position within the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network. As a CNS, you will be responsible for providing safe, evidence-based, person-centred care to patients with mental health issues. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, and provide clinical leadership in the ongoing development and review of clinical review systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients with mental health issues
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide clinical leadership in the ongoing development and review of clinical review systems
- Work closely with other teams to deliver mental health services
- Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Three years' full-time experience working in mental health and post-graduate qualifications in mental health, or a combination of equivalent experience and qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
