The Western Ridge Crusher Project
CPB Contractors, in alliance with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV), has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project. This project involves the construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa. The project is located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Serviceperson to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Serviceperson, you will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of workshop tasks, including maintenance, servicing, and refuelling of equipment. You will also be required to engage with industry leaders from project start-up, working on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) basis with a balanced 14 days on and 7 days off schedule.
Requirements
- Major/Minor servicing experience on all types of equipment for civil construction
- Ability to undertake all aspects of workshop tasks, including maintenance, servicing, and refuelling
- Hold unit of competency - CPCWHS1001, Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card)
- Hold unit of competency - RIISAM301, Test operational functions of vehicles and equipment (desirable)
- Hold unit of competency - PPFES2005, Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment (desirable)
- Hold unit of competency - RIIVEH305E, Operate and maintain a 4WD vehicle (desirable)
- Australian Driver's Licence
- Construction site experience, in a similar FIFO role, 2-3 years minimum
- Strong safety awareness
