We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Officer to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team at Hampstead Centre, Central Adelaide Local Health Network. As a key member of our CO-ACT program, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of innovative models of care for older persons.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where collaboration and teamwork are highly valued. You will have the opportunity to manage and oversee the treatment of patients, working closely with Consultants, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals to provide high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the treatment of patients within the service
- Work closely with a dedicated team of Consultants, including Geriatricians and General Practitioners, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals
- Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing educational activities to enhance your expertise and that of your colleagues
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Advanced skills in geriatric care, including medical assessment, medication management, and acute deterioration
- Ability to engage with patients and substitute decision makers, including crucial conversations
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary care model and case-conference setting
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Salary MDP2 $89,253 to $144,291 p.a., plus 11.5% Superannuation
- Multiple Full-Time Positions available, up to 3 Year Contracts
