The Opportunity

The Project Manager – Cyber is responsible for the technical and business aspects of KBR cyber related projects, including staffing, budgeting, planning, risk management, and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of cyber security, software tooling, and Australian cyber policy, as well as experience working with government and/or commercial cyber products, services, and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and maintain existing client relationships, including the continued delivery of existing projects.
  2. Construct project plans with agreed milestones, scope, and budget with the client where new work is agreed.
  3. Recognize and mitigate risks and issues within the project, including task dependencies.
  4. Liaise with strategy and delivery teams to determine solution execution and implementation approaches, risks, and mitigations.
  5. Assess the customer cyber landscape and develop solutions that improve, enhance, and/or optimize current capability.
  6. Provide updates to stakeholders on solution/product development processes, costs, and budgets.
  7. Continually research current and emerging technologies and policy changes pertaining to the cyber domain.
  8. Assess the business impact of technical and policy choices when making recommendations.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven work experience as a Project/Program Manager or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Highly effective communication skills.
  • NV1 Security clearance (with the ability to upgrade to NV2 if required).
