About the Role:

We are looking for dedicated casual early childhood educators to join our dynamic team across the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne and surrounding areas. If you hold a completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education, we'd love to connect with you.

As a casual early childhood educator, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children. You'll be at the heart of shaping their early learning experiences while enjoying the freedom to work on your own terms.

Key duties include:

  • Engaging with children in meaningful play-based learning activities
  • Implementing and contributing to the development of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues within a variety of childcare settings
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's development and learning experiences

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Fully completed Diploma in ECE (or ACECQA equivalent)
  • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Do Food Safely Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Childhood (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous experience working in a childcare setting is essential
