About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside. As a Radiographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

This is a fast-paced environment with state-of-the-art equipment, offering a Permanent part-time position of up to 32 hours per week with flexibility to the preferred candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI
  • Ensure accurate and efficient image acquisition and processing
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance imaging services
  • Develop and maintain expertise in cardiac and vascular procedures

Requirements
  • AHPRA registration as a Radiographer
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiographer in an acute tertiary hospital is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience working within a Cardiac Catheter Lab or Angiography Suite is preferable
  • General X-Ray skills and sub-specialty of either MRI or CT is desirable
  • Working knowledge of regulations, legislations and best practice
  • Commitment to excellent patient-centred care
  • The ability to work flexibly within the department and to provide effective leadership and education in the absence of a Senior Radiographer
  • Intermediate computer literacy, in using a range of Microsoft Office programs and openness to extend learning into 3D post-processing software's
