About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Craftsman - Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems by fitting and machining precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

2. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate assembly and installation of mechanical systems;">
3. Assemble, fit, and machine components to precise specifications using various tools and machinery;">
4. Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and machinery, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance;">
5. Primarily operate lathes to prepare Locomotive axle for wheel pressing, milling machines, and other workshop equipment;">
6. Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues to prevent downtime and ensure safety;">
7. Collaborate with other team members to improve production processes and efficiency, driving business growth and success;">

Requirements:

2. Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner;">
3. Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and components;">
4. Proficiency in using lathes, milling machines, and other workshop equipment;">
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications;">
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship;">
