As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor recreational areas.

  • Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding to ensure the grounds are well-manicured.
  • Maintain trails, pathways, and outdoor recreational areas to provide safe access for users.
  • Assist with Reverse Osmosis water system operation and minor repairs to maintain efficient water management.
  • Remove debris, fallen branches, and general litter to keep the grounds tidy and free from hazards.
  • Perform seasonal maintenance, including leaf removal and fire prevention measures to protect against potential risks.
  • Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Monitor and report any issues with infrastructure, including fences, walkways, and drainage systems to prevent damage or accidents.
  • Assist with minor repairs to outdoor furniture, signage, and structures to maintain their integrity and functionality.
  • Support the maintenance team in larger projects as needed to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field is highly valued.
  • Able to operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of semi-rural land management and associated systems is essential.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance is crucial.
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Knowledge of native plants, pest control, or environmental conservation is an advantage.
