We are seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist to join our team at St Vincent's Health Australia. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for healthcare and a keen eye for detail.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and improving the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation, ensuring that it meets regulatory requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records for completeness and accuracy
- Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical documentation practices
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Provide education and training to staff on clinical documentation best practices
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. healthcare, nursing)
