Australian Nursing Position

This is a nursing position that will support Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) Government Solutions in their joint department of defense program in Alice Springs, Australia.
The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques to patient care.
- React promptly to emergency situations with skill and alertness.
- Possess knowledge of training and teaching methods.
- Develop strong interpersonal skills to develop a rapport with patients and co-workers.
- Utilize practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and guidelines; collect a variety of samples.
- Perform routine, urgent, and emergency care professionally.
- Triage and provide medical advice to patients within the scope of practice.
- Check blood pressures and weights, perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), draw blood, and collect urine samples.
- Receive, dispatch, direct, and file relevant mail and laboratory and x-ray reports.
