About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to develop your pharmacy career and make a difference to the lives of our patients. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day running of the dispensary, delivering accurate and efficient services, and working closely with the pharmacist and store leader.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be an expert in the technical aspects of medicine supply and patient care. You will inspire and guide the pharmacy team, ensuring that our standards reflect our commitment to patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure legal, safe, and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy
  • Deliver on-target delivery of items and services income
  • Comply with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice
  • Tailor conversations with customers to ensure they leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs
  • Seek opportunities to engage external stakeholders and drive services and items
  • Deliver efficient dispensary operations and minimize dispensing losses
  • Order medicines, label, dispense, endorse, and check prescriptions

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. A genuine passion for customer care, leadership skills, and ability to work effectively in a team are essential.
