Job Opportunity:

The Procurement Manager is a key role responsible for evaluating vendor proposals, negotiating contracts, and providing recommendations to senior leadership. This position ensures that sourcing requirements are accurately reflected in purchase orders and properly implemented contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze vendor proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Evaluate and implement inventory strategies to support production needs
  • Purchase items requiring quality and compatibility assessment
  • Maintain accurate master planning data in business systems
  • Participate in designing plans and tracking mechanisms to efficiently manage material requirements
  • Manage operational relations with suppliers and administer ongoing supplier management programs
  • Make medium-term forecasts of cost price development and align purchase orders with manufacturing goals
  • Advise Product Management and Supply Management on stagnation issues
  • Troubleshoot supply bottlenecks and inventory delays independently
  • Conduct market scanning, compare quotations, and negotiate deals
  • Develop and recommend cost-saving proposals, including make-versus-buy analysis and alternative sourcing
