Accounting Professional

We seek an experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance team.

As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations with precision and attention to detail.
  • Perform daily banking and cash flow reconciliations to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Support month-end and year-end reporting processes, providing timely and accurate data to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments to resolve queries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Provide general administrative and finance support to the finance team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Experience in accounts payable/receivable, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Knowledgeable in financial compliance and reporting requirements, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
