Groundwater Modelling Virtual Team Lead Opportunity

Join a dynamic team of experts in groundwater modelling as we seek an experienced leader to spearhead our virtual team.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our Groundwater Modelling Practice, collaborating closely with state-based groundwater and surface water team leaders to deliver solutions for our clients.

As a trusted advisor, you will work directly with senior stakeholders to drive business growth, leveraging your technical expertise and commercial acumen to develop and implement strategic plans.

About The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a strong background in numerical modelling, hydrogeological conceptualisation, and groundwater impact assessment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

A thorough understanding of Australian groundwater legislation and guidelines related to resource development and infrastructure projects is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a virtual team of 11 people across multiple offices to deliver and grow our Groundwater Modelling Practice
  • Collaborate with state-based groundwater and surface water team leaders to deliver solutions for clients
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and leverage client relationships
  • Mentor junior staff in preparing quality reports on time and within budget
  • Contribute to winning work by identifying and converting opportunities
Requirements

7-20 years' industry experience as a hydrogeologist, including consultancy experience

Appropriate Engineering or Science tertiary qualification

Strong technical background in numerical modelling, hydrogeological conceptualisation, groundwater impact assessment, and hydrogeological investigation

Excellent communication and technical report writing skills
