We are seeking an experienced Electrical Sales Representative to join our team in Wetherill Park and contribute to the growth of our Power Generation Business.

Job Summary

This role will involve developing new opportunities to grow our Power Generation business, working closely with Consultants, Electrical Contractors, and End Users to understand customer needs and priorities, and offering appropriate Cummins solutions. You will also be responsible for building customer relationships and achieving sales goals within your assigned sales territory or market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new opportunities to grow the Power Generation business (Diesel Generators and Automatic Transfer Switches)
  • Independently develop and execute account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Project Management to conduct negotiations and deliver successful sales outcomes
  • Strong Sales Opportunity Pipeline Management skills required to proactively plan for successful execution of sales strategies and produce accurate Sales Forecasts
Requirements
  • 5 years previous sales experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Very Strong Electrical or Mechanical background required with a strong understanding of engines and/or electrical systems
  • Superior communication skills required with the ability to negotiate and develop new business
  • Experience with account management is essential
  • Knowledge of Salesforce will be an advantage
What We Offer
  • Hourly rate commensurate with experience: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
  • Uncapped Sales Commission: up to 20% of total sales revenue
  • Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program: up to 10% of total sales revenue
  • Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided
  • Company phone and laptop provided
