ERM is seeking a recent graduate to join its GIS & Spatial Systems Team in Australia.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS / Spatial Systems and experience with ESRI's full suite of desk and cloud-based geospatial applications.

You will be responsible for providing technical consulting skills to support the growth of ERM's service offerings, including providing GIS mapping support for reports and proposals, geospatial planning and support for field activities associated with environmental, social, and sustainability projects.

Data entry and management, spatial and non-spatial data, quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments are all key aspects of this role.

As a member of the GIS & Spatial Systems Team, you will work on a diverse range of environmental projects and programs within a broad multi-disciplinary context across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical consulting skills to support the growth of ERM's service offerings using ESRI's full suite of desk and cloud-based geospatial applications.
  • On a daily basis provide GIS mapping support for reports and proposals.
  • Provide geospatial planning and support for field activities associated with environmental, social, and sustainability projects.
  • Data entry and management including spatial and non-spatial data.
  • Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in GIS / Spatial Systems (Bachelor or Masters level).
  • Familiarity with ESRI Suite for map production and analysis.
  • Exceptional teamwork and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced project environments and multitask.
  • Drive to develop GIS and Spatial Information technology skills and applications.
