Job Description

We are seeking a Health, Safety & Environment professional to join our team as Manager – Health, Safety & Environment (Projects & Environmental). This role will play a key part in ensuring our major and minor capital works projects are delivered safely, sustainably, and in full compliance with regulatory and aviation standards.



About the Role

This position requires an experienced Health, Safety and Environment professional who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, WHS, or a related discipline (minimum Diploma level)
  • In-depth knowledge of WHS and environmental legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Environmental Protection Act, PFAS NEMP, and relevant codes of practice
  • Proven technical capability in areas such as PFAS contamination, soil classification, water quality, and waste tracking
  • Experience managing high-risk construction activities, such as confined space, working at heights, plant operation, and hot works

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This includes identifying risks early, influencing outcomes, and maintaining a calm and competent presence on-site and in the boardroom.
