Urban Development Engineering Project Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead our urban development engineering team in Melbourne. As a project manager, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering projects from proposal to construction.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and manage a small team of engineers and designers/drafters
- Work closely with the State Manager and senior leadership team to shape the division's operations
- Support business growth through client relationship management and pursuit of new opportunities
- Oversee QA and safety standards, and ensure high-quality technical output
- Contribute to the long-term strategy and culture of the Melbourne office
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 10 years of Civil Engineering Design experience in a consulting environment in Melbourne
- A proven leader with strong technical capability in civil engineering (urban development and infrastructure)
- Experience in managing and mentoring project teams
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Commercial acumen and ability to contribute to divisional performance
