Job Summary
Montgomery Advisory is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer and Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our Corporate and Institutional Banking & Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert legal advice on secured and unsecured facilities, bilateral loans, club and syndicated facilities, as well as subordinated and mezzanine financing.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with two prominent Partners within the Corporate and Institutional Banking & Finance team, providing legal advice to a diverse range of clients, including banks, non-bank financiers, and corporate borrowers. You will be responsible for managing secured and unsecured loans, bilateral and club facilities, syndicated arrangements, and subordinated and mezzanine financing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on secured and unsecured facilities, bilateral loans, club and syndicated facilities, as well as subordinated and mezzanine financing.
- Represent and advise a diverse range of clients, including banks, non-bank financiers, and corporate borrowers.
- Manage secured and unsecured loans, bilateral and club facilities, syndicated arrangements, and subordinated and mezzanine financing.
- Work closely with two prominent Partners within the Corporate and Institutional Banking & Finance team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years post-admission experience as a lawyer and 5 years post-admission experience as a senior associate within the Corporate Finance area.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
- Strong prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive approach along with a commercial mindset.
