Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our fabrication workshop in Western Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in sheet metal work, with a valid Construction White Card and HRWL EWP. They will also have a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations, with the ability to work safely at heights.

The role involves fabricating and assembling components such as ductwork, ventilation systems, tanks, and refinery structures using stainless steel or aluminium. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components using cutting, shaping, bending, and joining techniques.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
  • Perform welding or brazing tasks to create strong connections between metal parts.
  • Inspect and repair existing sheet metal structures and components.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working Safely at Heights certification.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Relevant Trade Certificate.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sheet metal work.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Able to start within the next 2-3 weeks.
  • Able to pass a comprehensive Pre-Employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
