Marketing Role Overview

The Marketing Coordinator position is a strategic opportunity to contribute to the success of our business by developing and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the General Manager and external partners to bring strategy and creativity to life.

The purpose of this role is to collaborate with the business to create and manage project timelines, ensuring all campaign elements are delivered on time and in full. You will also be responsible for working with the General Manager and external agencies to develop artwork for campaign materials and liaising with Centre Management and external agencies for asset distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management
    • Develop and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of campaign elements.
    • Collaborate with the General Manager and external agencies to develop artwork for campaign materials.
    • Liaise with Centre Management and external agencies for asset distribution.
  • Campaign Development
    • Work with the General Manager to develop and optimize content strategy to achieve brand goals and grow brand reach and engagement.
    • Establish processes and guidelines for social media management, including identification and management of a platform for scheduling, reviewing, and approvals of content.
    • Work with the team to create and schedule content for social media accounts across Max Brenner and Cakes by Max.
  • Social Media Management
    • Manage social media accounts on a daily basis, responding to comments and messages as needed.
    • Track and analyze relevant data and analytics sources to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and engagement from social media content.
    • Act on results to continuously improve and optimize performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hospitality and/or retail industry experience preferred.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, or equivalent.
  • Creative and innovative mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
