Job Title:

Maintenance Planner

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Planner will proactively forecast and schedule preventative maintenance tasks for all client assets across entities. They will procure goods and services while ensuring purchases meet specifications, pricing, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient use of the ERP system to schedule maintenance plans in a timely manner.
  • Schedule maintenance activities based on daily review of utilisation, oil analysis reports, and defects.
  • Update and communicate changes to the schedule based on plant movements, disposals, and other variables.
  • Manage open work orders and report performance against monthly targets.
  • Assist in resolving Accounts Payable invoice discrepancies and variances.
  • Work closely with the workshop team on costing changes to services, repairs, and overall maintenance.
  • Regularly review operations to identify areas for improvement and increase profit margin.
  • Audit adherence to Integrated Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a productive team environment promoting high morale and customer satisfaction.
About You:
  • Background in Civil/Mining or Maintenance Planning is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret parts manuals, operations, and maintenance manuals is required.
  • Sound understanding of sourcing products and financial implications is necessary.
  • Proven organisational skills, practices, and planning ability are essential.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities is desirable.
  • Effective planning, organising, and problem-solving skills with leadership abilities are required.
  • Qualification in Maintenance Planning (optional)
  • Current Driver's License
Requirements:
  1. Background in Civil/Mining or Maintenance Planning is preferred.
  2. Experience with purchasing and procurement is required.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  4. Ability to lead, motivate, and influence others is required.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  6. Familiarity with Integrated Management Systems and ISO standards is desirable.
  7. Certification in Maintenance Planning (optional)
  8. Valid driver's license
