About the Role

The APS4 Assurance Review Officer will provide operational and administrative support to the Assurance Planning Team, utilizing sound knowledge in service delivery areas to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake moderately complex work to deliver quality outcomes across the Assurance Planning Team
  • Collect and assess key planning decisions in accordance with the National Disability Scheme Act and Rules
  • Maintain high-quality records, including competency with IT systems and adherence to process guidelines and standard operating procedures
  • Research and review decisions for routine cases, and manage moderately complex cases with assistance from higher-level staff
  • Organize the team email inbox and schedule appointments
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Synthesis of legislation
  • Strong data literacy
  • Strong customer engagement skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and ability to navigate computer databases
Eligibility

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check, and/or Working with Children Check (where required), and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
