Gutter Cleaning Technician Job

As a Gutter Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of gutters and downpipes on various types of buildings. This role involves gutter cleaning, safety inspections, installing and replacing gutters, downpipes, repointing & rebeding, tile replacement, roof leak detection, repairs, and maintenance.

To succeed in this position, you must have previous experience in roofing or gutter cleaning, hold a current driver's licence and be able to drive a vehicle. A Working at Heights certification is highly desirable, but not essential. The ideal candidate will weigh under 85kg due to working at height/safety requirements.

This role requires strong communication skills and professional presentation, as well as reliability, hard work, and a commitment to safety. You will need to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, while adhering to company policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be employed full-time, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for ongoing work in North Sydney and Sydney surrounds. We offer a competitive hourly rate based on experience, along with training and career development opportunities, and the potential to become a Team Leader in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gutter cleaning and safety inspections
  • Installing and replacing gutters, downpipes, repointing & rebeding, tile replacement
  • Roof leak detection, repairs, and maintenance
  • Working safely at heights using harnesses and other safety equipment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in roofing or gutter cleaning
  • Current driver's licence and ability to drive a vehicle
  • Working at Heights certification (desired)
  • Weigh under 85kg due to working at height/safety requirements

  • Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
