Trust Fund Account Specialist

This role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all aspects of trust accounts for prisoners.
- Compile weekly remuneration payments for prisoners, ensuring correct payment of amenities allowances and board and lodging where applicable.
- Prepare discharge documentation for trust monies held, including travel arrangements for prisoners.
- Compile trust fund expenditure vouchers and prepare monthly reconciliations of prisoner trust funds.
- Oversee the disposal of unclaimed cash and valuables from prisoners.
- Provide administrative support to ensure a responsive service to the department.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing documentation, compiling payments, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all funds received for prisoner trust accounts, including preparing documentation for banking and responding to general enquiries.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and instructions.
