About the Role

The Water team in Australia is looking for a Senior Technical Lead to join their team. This position involves providing technical expertise and leading technical teams to develop and deliver integrated technical solutions for key water and wastewater projects in Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary activities and inputs by the technical team to ensure an integrated technical solution.
  • Deliver outputs on time and to an appropriate quality.
  • Bring a can-do solution-focused attitude to our projects.
  • Lead engineering projects and manage internal engineering disciplines as well as subcontractors.
  • Support delivery teams during design and construction, acting in a senior leadership and management role on projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant Engineering field along with CPEng and RPEQ (or ability to obtain).
  • At least 10 years civil or process-mechanical water infrastructure engineering experience – design and construction.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities including managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of water and wastewater services and the delivery environment.
  • Highly developed problem solving and negotiation skills to resolve disputes that arise.
  • Strong understanding of D&C or alternative delivery projects.
