About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bridges and Structures Engineer to join our Civil and Structures team in Sydney.

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for developing deliverables, including factual condition investigation reports, analysis, and design documentation, in accordance with TfNSW and Australian standards. You will also supervise junior engineers and contribute to the design and development of engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality engineering solutions, including analysis and design documentation
  • Supervise junior engineers and provide guidance and support
  • Contribute to the development of engineering solutions, identifying constraints, opportunities, and buildability issues
  • Plan and organize tasks, people, project programs, and fee proposals
  • Develop analysis using Grillage, Space Frame, and/or Finite Element Analysis software
  • Collaborate with the team and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in inspection and assessment of existing structures assets
  • Experience in development of analysis and design solutions for Bridges, Buried Structures, and/or Miscellaneous Structures
  • Experience in construction-related activities
