Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to work with us at Icon Cancer Centre.

The ideal candidate will have proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery, as well as effective interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Maintaining the highest standards of patient care is essential, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality radiation therapy services.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate a strong understanding of clinical protocols and procedures, and be able to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centred clinical radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery services that comply with all relevant safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.
  • Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit a strong patient focus and treating all patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality.
  • Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient centric and collaborative approach.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have current AHPRA Registered Radiation Therapist with QLD Radiation Use Licence and a strong understanding of the service delivery model within the private healthcare sector.
