About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Capgemini. As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data models and architectures that support our organization's data strategy.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with business leaders to identify data-driven opportunities and develop business cases to support investment in data solutions.
* Design and develop data architectures, including data models, data flows, aligned with business objectives.
* Lead the development and optimization of data integration processes, including ETL/ELT workflows, to ensure data availability, quality, and consistency.
* Provide guidance on cloud data architecture, including the use of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage, processing, and analytics.
* Partner with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data architecture supports analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
* Evaluate emerging data technologies and make recommendations for adoption to enhance data capabilities.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
* Experience in data architecture, data management, or related roles.
* Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and database management systems.
* Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure) and big data technologies.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to develop business cases, including ROI analysis, to justify data initiatives.
* Proficient in data governance, data quality management, and data security practices.
* Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
