The Role


We are seeking a Service Advisor to act as the vital link between our valued customers and our expert technical team.


Key Responsibilities



  • Meet and Greet: Welcome all customers upon their arrival.
  • Phone Enquiries: Handle phone enquiries and bookings.
  • Invoice Management: Cost repair invoices for retail, fleet, warranty, and internal accounts.
  • Customer Updates: Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle.
  • Authorisation: Seek approval from fleet companies for repairs and services.
  • Workshop Coordination: Collaborate with the Workshop Controller to allocate work to workshop staff.
  • Customer Consultation: Provide in-depth information and alternatives for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm service appointments, vehicle drop-offs, and pick-ups.
  • Workflow Oversight: Manage and supervise the service department's workflow.
  • Customer Follow-up: Notify customers about service changes and vehicle readiness.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain positive customer relations to secure repeat business.

Requirements



  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Strong Work Ethic & Positive Attitude: A commitment to excellence and a proactive mindset.
  • Current Driver's License: Mandatory for the role.
  • Industry Acumen: Prior experience in the motor industry is a significant advantage.
  • Organisational Skills: Proficiency in multitasking without compromising on quality.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with industry-specific software and office365 is essential.
