Regulatory Compliance Expert

This key role delivers regulatory oversight and compliance action across the Tasmanian child-safe landscape.

Responsibilities:
  • Regulate organisational compliance with child and youth safe standards through monitoring and investigations
  • Manage staff and oversee the Reportable Conduct Scheme and investigations as part of a cohesive team
  • Support senior management in supervising and guiding the Regulation and Compliance Team
  • Undertake case management of complex matters, providing expert advice to stakeholders
  • Identify jurisdictional issues, assess risk, and support day-to-day operations of the Regulation and Compliance Team
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in regulation or administrative law
  • A current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (employment)
