Supportive Home Care Assistant

As a Supportive Home Care Assistant, you will provide individualized care and support to enable our clients to maintain their independence and live well in their own homes. Your role will be to assist with daily living tasks, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage social connections within the community.

  • Assist with personal care, medication management, and mobility support as per client care plans.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with household chores, meal preparation, and grocery shopping to promote a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Promptly report any changes in client's condition or concerns via our incident management system.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Community Services is highly desired.
  • A current Australian driver's license and willingness to travel for appointments.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidence in using technology for documentation and communication.
