Charterhouse is an established accounting firm with over 50 years of history. We operate out of multiple locations, utilizing our offshore support team to enable our employees to be client-facing. Our client base consists of complex clients, including High-Net-Worth Individuals. We offer a range of services, including Tax and Accounting, Private Wealth, Insurance, and Lending.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intermediate Accountant to join our team. As an Intermediate Accountant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients, including financial statement preparation, audit support, and tax planning.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and be adaptable to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Provide audit support, including preparing audit schedules and answering auditor inquiries
  • Assist with tax planning, including researching and preparing tax returns
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity
Requirements
  • Currently studying towards CA/CPA
  • 2+ years experience in a Chartered Accounting firm in Australia
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Adaptability to changing priorities
