Job Title: Automotive Technicians

We are seeking experienced and skilled automotive technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in European and Japanese made light vehicles, including Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, 4WDs, Fuso Trucks, and Agriculture and Construction Machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining vehicles according to factory standards
  • Diagnosing, overhauling, repairing, tuning, maintaining, and testing diesel, petrol, and gas-powered vehicles
  • Tracing faults via diagnostic codes and repairing identified issues
  • Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems
  • Testing, servicing, and repairing electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition, and electronic fuel injection
  • Dismantling engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for rebuilding or repair
  • Realigning and adjusting brakes and performing wheel laser alignments
  • Performing general vehicle maintenance as required by customers, including removal and replacement of worn components
  • Testing vehicles under driving conditions post-repair

Requirements:

  • Industry-recognised qualifications
  • A current Motor Mechanic / Auto Electrician Trade Certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of industry-relevant full-time work experience
  • Knowledge and experience in servicing and maintaining Japanese and European vehicles, including 4WDs
  • Strong diagnostic skills for specific brands
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Manufacturer training and experience is essential
