Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Key Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our business in Rockhampton Region. The successful candidate will manage a team of approximately 20-30 staff and subcontractors involved in the inspection, maintenance, and reinforcement of poles.

Responsibilities
  • SHEQ leadership and management, ensuring all work is conducted safely and meets compliance standards.
  • Oversee the scheduling, management and monitoring of pole inspection and reinforcement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
  • Manage the P&L for the business, driving operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for client concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a management role, ideally within the utilities or asset inspection industries. A strong understanding of power utility operations and pole asset management is also essential.
