Senior Technology Audit Lead

The role involves overseeing technology, data and change management audits to ensure organisational effectiveness. This includes providing audit expertise for supervisory assessments.

The Team

The Internal Audit function evaluates internal controls, risk management and governance processes across the organisation. The function provides independent challenge and escalation services while also acting as a Subject Matter Expert to assist leaders in developing and maintaining technical audit skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the internal audit plan in conjunction with external resources.
  • Monitor management's implementation of action plans, including advising on issue management and risk acceptance.
  • Pioneer a strategic approach to internal auditing and influence the assurance architecture for data governance, technology and transformation.
  • Provide strategic, governance and operational internal audit reporting to senior leaders and stakeholders.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience working with executive leaders, including presenting at board level.
  • Experience managing audit activity over large projects, including digital transformation initiatives in complex environments.
  • Knowledge of contemporary technology platforms, particularly in cloud and data areas.
  • A sound understanding of agile methodologies within programme/portfolio management functions.
