The Role

As WiseTech Global continues to expand through strategic acquisitions, the company requires a skilled professional to strengthen its finance integration processes. This individual will partner closely with the M&A team to ensure a seamless integration of newly acquired businesses into the group's financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing new businesses' financial processes and aligning them with WiseTech Global's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement cross-functional finance integration plans for new acquisitions.
  • Execute finance integration plans, including the implementation of WiseTech's finance processes and procedures across financial reporting, treasury, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams and acquired businesses to execute entity rationalization and aid statutory reporting.
  • Identify and work with subject matter experts to solve problems that arise during the integration process.
  • Aid in the transition of day-to-day control to other members of the Finance team.
  • Improve internally developed integration processes and procedures to drive increased efficiency and achieve scalability.

Requirements

  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Good understanding of month-end close processes and experience as a ledger owner.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality financial reporting or financial planning and analytics deliverables.
  • Exposure to M&A, Financial Reporting, and FP&A/Commercial Finance teams.
  • Exposure to transactional processing, including AR, AP, Cash, and Treasury.
  • Desire to learn and understand new systems, finance processes in all functional areas.
  • Personable and collaborative attitude, with the ability to develop relationships quickly and confidently deal with all levels, including senior management.
