The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Care Services Companion. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity at all times.

Your primary duties will include assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship to our residents. You will also be required to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

  • Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • 6 months experience in aged care or a related field (preferred but not essential)
  • A strong understanding of the importance of person-centered care and the ability to promote the autonomy and dignity of our residents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with best practice in aged care
