Job Opportunity: Transport Scheduler

  • We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to manage our transportation operations across Melbourne.

This is a full-time role that requires exceptional organizational skills, intermediate Excel skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on transport administration, logistics, and compliance. Experience with SAP is preferred but not essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing 10-15 trucks in/around Melbourne.
  • Responding to phone calls and assisting with customer inquiries.
  • Booking and scheduling to ensure timely delivery.
  • Administrative tasks and compliance management.
  • Maintaining purchase orders and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Scheduling and preparing run sheets for distribution.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and suggesting ideas for enhancement.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
