Apprentice Electrician

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Electrical Maintenance team as an Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the electrical trade, working with industry leading technology and equipment.
This apprenticeship will provide you with hands-on experience in preventative maintenance and fault finding of electrical systems, as well as training in safety procedures and protocols.
Our Electrical Maintenance team works closely with production staff to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
- Performing routine checks and inspections to identify potential issues
- Learning to use Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage work orders and track maintenance activities
- Working collaboratively with other teams to resolve electrical-related issues
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A genuine interest in learning the electrical trade
- Basic knowledge of electrical industry terminology
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
- Intermediate IT skills with regards to Windows-based operating systems
