Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in providing care and support to individuals in their homes. This is a casual role based in Melton, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

About the Role:

This Support Worker position involves providing practical and emotional help to clients, enabling them to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes. The role requires reliability, commitment, and empathy, as well as strong communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with daily living tasks such as personal care, household chores, and meal preparation
  • Enable clients to participate in social activities and community events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their families
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or equivalent
  • A current National Police Certificate
  • An Open Valid Driver License and your own reliable vehicle
  • Physical capability to meet the requirements of the role
  • Current First Aid Certification
  • Smart Phone and internet access
