We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Nurse to provide expert clinical guidance, instruction and supervision for nursing students on placement. This role involves supporting the transition of new graduates and staff to the clinical environment and promoting practical learning in a real-world setting.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced nurse to utilize their advanced clinical skills and knowledge in acute and aged care contexts. The successful candidate will have highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical support and supervision to nursing students on placement.
- Support the transition of new graduates and staff to the clinical environment.
- Develop and deliver competency-based education programs.
- You must be able to demonstrate empathy, wellbeing, and community values through your actions and behaviors.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical nursing skills and knowledge in acute and aged care context.
- Possess highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduate nursing experience.
