Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader

Take on a pivotal leadership role as a Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader at a leading Local logistics company established in 1996. In this dynamic position, you will oversee every facet of warehouse operations, from supervising delivery routes and fleet maintenance to driving team performance and operational excellence.

About the Role:
  • Step into a leadership role where you will be responsible for managing and enhancing warehouse operations, ensuring high performance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the management of daily logistics operations, tackle challenges, and ensure targets for service quality, cost-efficiency, and damage reduction are met.
  • Maintain a customer-centric culture by employing innovative tools and strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Supervise an average team of eight staff members, reporting to the warehouse manager.
  • Use standard tools for accurate reporting, resource control, and cost management, while implementing optimization programs and sharing best practices.
  • Identify training needs, create impactful programs, and support ongoing development strategies.
  • Ensure Safety: Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including OH&S, to maintain a secure and safe working environment.
  • Oversee inspections, reconciliations, and equipment safety checks. Manage customer delivery loading, driver training, and fleet upkeep.
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships through consistent and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Motivate and guide your team through effective communication and leadership, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Experience Required:
  • Minimum of two years in a similar operations or logistics role, demonstrating success in process optimization and operations management.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, finance, and relevant technology.
  • Demonstrated skills in continuous improvement, leadership, and people management.
  • Forklift license required.
