Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our team as a catering assistant.

Work Schedule: The selected candidate will be required to work on Monday & Tuesday, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm, and Wednesday, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service by serving meals and snacks to residents
  • Restock supplies as needed, especially after meal periods
  • Dishwash and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety practices
  • Prepare and present texture modified foods for residents with specific dietary needs
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in kitchens, food preparation, and/or customer service is highly desirable
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
  • Previous experience in aged care is preferred but not essential
