We are seeking a skilled Civil Labourer to join our team at RPR Trades. As a Civil Labourer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on civil construction sites, including traffic control, fencing, demobilization, equipment operation, and site clean-up.
Key Responsibilities- Traffic Control Duties: Safely manage traffic flow around work areas, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
- Fencing: Erect, dismantle, and maintain temporary fencing, barrier fencing, and silt fencing as required.
- Demobilization: Safely dismantle compounds and clean up the site, ensuring a safe and efficient process.
- Equipment Operation: Operate various site equipment, including star picket drivers, sledgehammers, jackhammers, pumps, and hand/power tools.
- Site Clean-Up: Perform daily maintenance and general site cleaning, including the site office.
- Tipper Operation: Operate small tippers for transportation purposes.
- Manual Physical Tasks: Perform manual physical tasks, including lifting and bending, as required.
- Availability: Be available for an immediate start.
- Construction Safety Card: Hold a valid Construction Safety Card.
- Roller Operations Tickets: Have relevant tickets for Roller operations.
- Traffic Control Ticket: Hold a Traffic Control Ticket (Level 1 or Level 1&2) would be advantageous.
- Driver's License: Hold a current Driver's License.
- Reliable Vehicle: Own a reliable vehicle.
- Past Experience: Have past proven experience in a similar role.
