About the Position

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to provide strategic advice on contracts and procurement for infrastructure and goods and services across a designated region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing timely and accurate procurement advice to support business objectives
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive procurement plans, including document preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management
  • Collaborating with project managers to ensure effective contract management, supplier relationships, and negotiation practices
  • Enhancing procurement capabilities through training and capacity building initiatives
  • Analyzing and resolving complex contractual issues, providing expert solutions
  • Utilizing and delivering training on electronic tendering systems to optimize procurement processes
  • Representing regional interests and contributing to state-wide forums to drive best practice procurement strategies
  • Promoting compliance with policies and legislation while identifying opportunities for process improvements and providing ad-hoc procurement guidance

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in procurement or a related field
  • Significant experience in procurement and contract management
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
