Experience Specialist Opportunity

Unlock a varied and dynamic position to make a valuable contribution to the strategic and creative direction of digital communication.

This role is responsible for embedding a user-focused and best practice mindset within an organisation. You will work alongside all areas of the digital team and stakeholders to provide insights-driven creative and messaging that informs interactions with residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing prototypes in Figma using Council's Design System for new website content.
  • Creating documentation and implementation guides for Adobe Experience Manager component builds.
  • Supporting quality assurance and review of Adobe Experience Manager componentry as part of the development cycle.
  • Providing consultancy to content strategists to align new website content with user-centric experiences.

To be successful, you will have:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within digital marketing and expertise in design across multiple platforms.
  • Experience working within government and/or service-based organisations.
  • Knowledge of best practice UX design principles and skills in UX software such as Sketch, Axure, InVision, Adobe XD, Figma or equivalent.
  • Experience developing UI documentation and understanding interactions.
  • A passion for driving and delivering excellent customer experiences.
