About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor to join our offshore Energy division on a 3:3 roster. This role will involve executing, reporting, and ensuring the safe completion of project scopes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for execution, reporting, and safe completion of all project scopes.
  • Ensuring quality and safety of works, directing and assisting teams to organise places of work to ensure work is carried out to the required standards with a minimum of risk to personnel, the environment, equipment, and materials.
  • Providing expert advice, support, technical or functional information as required.
  • Planning and organising work to meet contract schedule and maximise efficiency and productivity of the workforce.
  • Conducting risk assessments, preparing and ensuring permits are correct for tasks.
  • Overseeing the full spectrum of planning, taking into account materials, resourcing, and equipment procurement.
  • Maximising time in the field, conducting safety talks and interactions with crews, completing own KPIs, and ensuring direct reports are also compliant.
  • Supervising, coaching, and mentoring trade roles and direct reports.

Requirements

  • Mechanical trade or tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management experience would be highly regarded.
  • BOSIET/FOET & CA-EBS.
  • MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card).
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
