Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated warehouse operative to join our production team. This role is hands-on and based in the production side of our warehouse, supporting the smooth flow of operations.

This position involves operating a high reach forklift to move and store stock safely, using RF scanners to pick and process orders accurately, and assisting in production and machine operating tasks. You will also be responsible for general warehouse duties including loading/unloading, packing, and housekeeping.

The ideal candidate will have a current forklift licence with high reach experience, RF scanning experience, and previous production or machine operating experience. They will also be physically fit and able to handle manual tasks, reliable with a strong work ethic, and possess a current driver's licence and reliable transport.

This is a Monday – Friday roster from 6:00am – 2:00pm, offering a supportive team environment and ongoing role with long-term career potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a high reach forklift to move and store stock safely
  • Use RF scanners to pick and process orders accurately
  • Assist in production and machine operating tasks
  • Perform general warehouse duties including loading/unloading, packing, and housekeeping
  • Work as part of a team to meet production schedules and targets
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Current forklift licence with high reach experience (essential)
  • RF scanning experience (essential)
  • Previous production or machine operating experience (highly regarded)
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Must hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport
