Water Quality Monitoring Role

We are seeking a skilled Water Quality Monitoring Specialist to join our environmental monitoring team.

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and support to complete a Diploma of Water Operations (Hydrography).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site visits and maintenance of environmental monitoring equipment
  • Collect and verify water quality data using specialized software and scientific instruments
  • Assist in project implementation and routine works as required
  • Maintain accurate records including field notes, photographs, and maps
  • Collaborate with the team to upgrade and install new environmental monitoring stations
Essential Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in environmental science or related field
  • High level attention to detail, strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks in various outdoor conditions
  • Current manual car driver's licence and 4WD experience
  • Experience with health, safety, and environmental aspects of field work
  • Ability to swim
